Courtney C. Young serves as Chief Executive Office and Chairman of the Board for ForeSight Communications (FSC). In its global contracting portfolio, FSC has represents more than 36 brands that are generating more than $250 million dollars in annual revenue. FSC’s business offerings include public relations and marketing services, event planning and minority outreach program development. Ms. Young is the chief architect of the strategies initiated for clients.
Ms. Young established ForeSight Communications (FSC) on July 1, 2005 and has continued to lead the company’s growth and development. The company has proudly established a presence in the United States and Southern Africa. Since its inception, the company has represented more than 100 brands, including the Hilton Head -Bluffton Chamber of Commerce- 2015 Top Chamber of the Year, Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration- Top 20 Event in Southeastern United States, South Carolina Women’s Business Center – SBA funded minority business development program, Juneteenth Celebration in Mitchelville –America’s first self-governed freed man’s town, United States National Parks Service –2016 National Underground Railroad Conference, and Richland County Government- $22million penny tax’s public information initiatives.
The company draws on all its client experiences to develop strategies that stay within budget and meet intended goals. Ms. Young was appointed as Director of Marketing for the Botswana American Chamber of Commerce and is the recipient of the Emerging United States Business Woman award. In addition to leading a well-developed team of professionals, Ms. Young is an active member of several community organizations including Junior League, Gullah-Geechee Consortium, National Association of Minority Contractors and the Community Health Assistance Team.
She holds a B.A. from the College of Charleston, an M.A. from Webster University and completed professional trainings at the Darden School of Business and Universite of Geneve. She proudly continues her family’s legacy, as a fourth generation business owner.
